It’s still quite cold in this beautiful place, a good time to start painting, I have been commissioned to paint a Beautiful Dog called Ben in Oils, it’s going quite well and just starting to take shape, plenty to do yet, I’m really enjoying this Painting, not that I don’t others.
I have gone back to using stand oil alone as I have been experimenting with different mediums such as alkyds to which make Oils dry more quickly but the appearance or surface of the paint is a disappointment; back to the tried and tested materials whereby the paint looks wonderful.

I am listening to Alexis Ffrench the Pianist, really beautiful music indeed a great talent.
